About

La Flor del Encanto® (English translation: The Flower of Enchantment) is a women's wear line for that girl who is living life on her own terms and doing so with an individual style. Inspired by the culture, vibrancy and charm of native home Puerto Rico; La Flor hopes to build a stronger presence for the Puerto Rican and Latino community in the fashion industry.

It all started with specialty cards as a means to showcase the Puerto Rican culture through illustrations, Muñecas® (English translation: dolls). Recognizing a gap in the market, La Flor journeyed into fashion apparel and a mission to make custom creations for women with a tropical-glamour aesthetic that is missing from the market.

Just a few months shy of graduating Fashion school; La Flor landed the cover of VOLANT Magazine debuting a Cuentos de Hadas theme (English translation: Fairy tales) and featuring its signature dress, the Bomba, inspired by the culture and dance roots of Puerto Rico. This was an ideal platform to share a vision that differentiated La Flor from the expected resort wear, presenting a new fashion perspective from an island born designer in an effort to revolutionize the way people see and wear designs with a tropical flair. Later the same year, actress Valentina Latyna graced the red carpet wearing La Flor at the Society Voice Awards at Warner Bros Studio in California, where she was nominated for best Spanish voiceover for the audiobook "La Batalla Por el Paraíso" by award-winning journalist Naomi Klein.

Believing that every girl deserves a fairy tale moment; La Flor strives in creating unique pieces that offer a special experience for each client. The line is not limited to the Puerto Rican woman. A free spirited, confident and strong woman who dares to be different and owns her individuality is La Flor. She simply blooms.
